Marjorie Farr Obituary

Died: November 19, 2021
Marge was born March 3rd 1926 in Spring Valley to Roy M and Helen (Pervier) Conway. Marge grew up in Ladd, she graduated from Hall township H.S. (Class of 1944) and from Mt. Mary college in Milwaukee Wi. (Class of 1948). Marge graduated as an Occupational Therapist, and after a year of affiliations, she joined the Army and worked as an Occupational Therapist at Beamont Army hospital in El Paso, TX. Upon discharge from the Army, she joined Special Services, managing a service club at Templehoff airbase in Berlin, Germany. On her return from Germany, Marge went to work at St. Elizabeth hospital in Washington D.C. It was in Washington that she met Robert Farr and they were married in 1962. Marge and Bob moved to Rockville Maryland to raise their family and on their retirement moved into Leisure World in Silver Spring, Maryland. Marge was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2013, her parents, one sister Patricia Muratori of Ladd, and a nephew Ray Muratori of Dalzell.
She is survived by her children, Michael Farr of Olney, Maryland, her daughter Susan (Ken) Honaker of Union Bridge, Maryland, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and her twin sister Jean Conway of Ladd.
Funeral services will be held on November 24th at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Mike & Susie, I am so sorry to learn the news about your mom. We had so many good times as next-door neighbors. She kept an eye on Jeff & Dan at times; I so appreciate her care. She was an incredibly strong woman and I admired her greatly. I send my love as you grieve the loss of this wonderful woman. She made a difference.
