Born: December 28, 1941 in Peru, IL
Died: October 5, 2025 in Oglesby, IL
Rose M. (Nelson) Wrobleski, 83, of Oglesby, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at her home.
According to Rose's request, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Prey-Mueller Funeral Home, Oglesby.
Mrs. Wrobleski was born on December 28, 1941 in Peru to Arthur and Arlene (LaBelle) Nelson. She was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru Township High School, Class of 1959. She married Edward Francis Wrobleski on April 17, 1965 at the First Baptist Church, Oglesby. He passed away on September 24, 2020.
Mrs. Wrobleski was a staple at The Orange Bowl at the Peru Mall for many years. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Survivors include three sons, Edward (Kathye) Wrobleski of Oglesby, Wayne Wrobleski of Waukegan, and Scott Wrobleski of Oglesby; four grandchildren, Eddie Wrobleski, Hannah (Max) White, Nick Ellerbrock, and Mitch Ellerbrock; one great-granddaughter, Madison White; and two sisters, Ollie Stuart of Peru and Delores Alteri of LaSalle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter in-law, Monica Wrobleski; and her brother, John Nelson.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
