Steven R. Bumgarner, 66 of Mendota died at 8:40 p.m. Monday September 29, 2025 in his home.
Per his request cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services or visitation. Shields Funeral Chapel, Oglesby is in charge of arrangements.
Steve was born July 10, 1959 in Mendota to George and Myrtle "Brown" Bumgarner.
He worked as a forklift operator for Del Monte.
His hobbies included fishing and camping with family and in his later years building lego sets.
He is survived by 2 sons; Richard Bumgarner and Peter (Sara) Bumgarner both of Mendota.
He was preceded in death by his parents
