Steven Eiberger Obituary

Steven J. Eiberger
Born: October 24, 1957 in Spring Valley, IL
Died: August 18, 2021 in Princeton, IL
Steven John Eiberger, 63, of DePue, passed away after a battle with cancer, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Aperion Care of Princeton.
Steve's final act of kindness was a donation to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois. Hopefully, through his generosity, a greater understanding of the disease he fought so hard to overcome can be achieved and lead to better treatments and, possibly, even a cure.
Private services will be arranged at a later date. The Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, is honored to assist Steve's family at this time.
A guestbook may be signed and memories shared with the family by visiting bartofh.com.
Memorials in Steve's memory may be directed to Cops 4 Cancer, Inc or donor's choice.
Steve was born on October 24, 1957 at St Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley to Richard T. and Lubi (Rudich) Eiberger.

I will always remember when we met he came thru my line and I told him I liked his White Sox’s hat and that’s how our friendship began I will always remember our talks about baseball and we even exchanged baseball cards! Then came the day he told me about his cancer and we both cried I said my prayers everyday hoping he would get better until the last day Rosa brought him in the store I knew it would be the last time I saw him I miss him everyday but I also know he is in a better place He was a true White Sox’s fan and I am positive for a World Series Win Go Go White Sox’s Steve!! ❤
