Vivian J. Kallner
Born: October 28, 1934 in Peru, IL
Died: August 27, 2022 in Florida
Vivian J. (Nilsson) Kallner, 87, of Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Peru, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, peacefully at her home.
A prayer service will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru followed by graveside services at St. Hyacinth's Cemetery, LaSalle with Rev. J.A. Small of St. Joseph's Church, Peru officiating. Visitation will be 1-2:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kallner was born October 28, 1934, in Peru to Richard and Pearl (Kruswicki) Nilsson. She attended both LaSalle-Peru High School and Hall Township High School, and was employed by Westclox, where she met John Kallner. She and John were married in January 1955 in Davenport, IA. She traveled the world, enjoyed Bingo and loved to shop.
Survivors include three sons, David (Tammy) Kallner of Davenport, FL, Mark (Dawn) Kallner of Campobello, SC and Greg (Ida) Kallner of Yulee, FL; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard Nilsson of the Philippines and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John on August 23, 2009; her daughter, Charmagne in infancy; her parents and her three sisters, Cheryl Warren, Sandra Kramer and Brenda Stone.
Pallbearers will be her sons; grandsons, Shawn Kallner and Justin Kallner and nephew, Christian Kramer Sr.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Community Hospice of Nassau County, Florida, 1901 Island Walkway, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034; communityhospice.com.
