William J. Zborowski passed away peacefully at his home August 22, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 10, 1960 in Peru, Illinois to Louis and Julia Zborowski.
Bill graduated from LaSalle-Peru Township High School in 1978 and Northern Illinois University with a BA in Journalism in 1982. He completed his MBA in marketing from Roosevelt University in 1994. His career took him down various paths, working at Mobile Oil Corp, Motorola, Inc., WMS Gaming and most recently at CVS Healthcare. But his most important position was husband and father.
Bill is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joanne; daughter, Suzanne; siblings, Lois (Bill) Fronczke, Elaine (John) Vogel, Ray (Nancy) Zborowski, and Lon (Mari) Renkosik; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; stepmother, Marion; and his mother.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday August 25 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich and 9:30am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Friday August 26 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church,. 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Burial will follow Mass at Transfiguration Catholic Cemetery, Wauconda.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org.
