Ramona Winifred "Winnie" Hartman

1948 - 2021

KEYSER, WV - Ramona Winifred "Winnie" Hartman, 72, of Keyser, departed life on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Potomac Valley Hospital.
Born on August 13th 1948 in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Carl O. and Arzella E. (Bishop) Smith.
Winnie graduated in 1966 from Keyser High School and in 1968 she graduated from the Tri-State Beauty Academy in Cumberland, MD with top honors in her class. She was a Cosmetologist for more than 40 years in the Keyser area and made many friends along the way.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, godmother and peace maker. She never met a stranger and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. In her final hours she would say "Miss me but let me go."
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Randolph "Randy" A. Hartman; her daughter, Shawn Yvette Smarik; one granddaughter, Joelle Paige Miller and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by and her two sisters, Nelda F. Ellifritz and husband Baxter of Keyser and Carla Nita Northcraft and late husband Sandor of Cresaptown, MD.
      In respecting Winnie's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no public viewing or funeral service.  Private inurnment will be held in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
