Aaron McGowan Obituary

Aaron Charles McGowan, 22, of Middlebrook passed away June 6, 2006 in Waynesboro.

He was born June 21, 1983 in Hazleton, Pa., the son of Sean Charles McGowan and Marny Lane McGowan. He is also a brother to Tyler McGowan, his dearest and closest friend.

Aaron was a 2001 graduate of Wilson Memorial High School, in Fishersville, a member of the wrestling team and loved computers. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Helen McGowan.

Survivors include his mother of West Hazleton, Pa.; his father and stepmother, a loving friend to Aaron, Nancy Koplin, of Middlebrook; his brother, Tyler McGowan of West Hazleton, Pa;, his sister, Melody McGowan of San Antonio, Tex.; special friend Sabrina Fortune and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Marge and Dale Fryberger of Millersville, Pa.

A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, June 15, 2006 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Conahan Funeral Home, located at 2nd and Vine, Streets, Hazleton, Pa.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Aaron C. McGowan Scholarship Fund c/o M&T Bank 223 W. Broad St. Hazleton, Pa., 18201. Proceeds will go to a graduate of HAHS who is pursuing a career in the computer field.

Reynolds Funeral Service is handling the Virginia arrangements.
