April 18, 1946 - June 12, 2025
Cecil McCoy Truslow affectionately known as "Coy" or "Pop", passed away at his residence on June 12th 2025, at the age of 79.
Born on April 18th 1946, in Nelson County, Virginia. The son of the late Arthur & Annie Mae Truslow.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy Truslow. Brothers Arthur Truslow Jr and Bobby Truslow.
He survived by his daughter Doris Ann Ramsey. Brother William "Peewee" Truslow.
Granddaughter Natasha Roberts-Hall (Rodney) Grandson Dane Roberts (Katelyn).
Great Grandkid's: Dustin Hall (Sierra), Blake Hall & Mazie Roberts.
Significant Other Ida McGinnis.
Special Friends Frank and Judy Neese.
Pop loved to play his guitar, banjo and loved bluegrass music.
Also he loved to hunt, fish, ginseng hunt & work in his garden on the hottest days :) .
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I was married to Peewee (his brother) for 13 years.

Coy was my brother in law for 13 years. I was married to Peewee. I got very attached to the family. I'm so sorry to hear of Coys passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

So sad and heartbreaking to hear of Coy's passing. He was a great person and friend. His family are great people also. His Brother, Peewee used to be married to my sister. Coy will truly be missed by so many. Prayers for all the family.
