Drema Drumheller Obituary

Drema (Norman) Drumheller, 77, a resident of Stuarts Draft, Va., passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at her home.

She was born on October 12, 1944 in Waynesboro, Va., daughter of the late Lewis and Mary (St. Moyer) Norman.

She retired from Stuarts Draft High School, after 16 years of service.

Drema was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married for 53 wonderful years to her husband, John N. Drumheller II. Drema and Johnny started married life while he was pursuing an education in Blacksburg at Virginia Tech. After a wedding in Waynesboro on June 8, 1969, they honeymooned in Virginia Beach and went right back to Virginia Tech. After Johnny’s graduation, they lived in Alexandria, Va., but decided Waynesboro was where they wanted to live. They stayed in this area for the rest of their married life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristi Jo Drumheller; and her son, John N. Drumheller III.

Surviving are her loving husband, John N. Drumheller II; her cherished granddaughter, Ava Drumheller; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Due to Covid19, services will be private for the family.

I can only offer my deepest sympathy and commitment to be ready to help... to Johnny, and his family and to his granddaughter Ava and her Mom Samantha in this time and in the future. Drema and Johnny have been lifetime friends and neighbors. Drema left us all here but with countless memories of fun and times of laughter and love that we will never lose. Love from Bill and Gloria Rodgers
