I was saddened to hear of Tyler´s illness and death. I met Tyler when I was the pastor at his Church in Waynesboro. I remember the fun loving young man who cherished his friends and family. He held such hope for the future and the family he might one day have. I pray for each of you that God will hold your futures in his hand. God knows the plans he had for Tyler and each of you. Hold use memories close. One of the funniest memories I have of Tyler was his baptism. He requested to be baptized by immersion. He and I scouted out the perfect place with his Grandpa Wright. We did the baptisms sfter worship and had a fun day and picnic on the creek that his Grandparents had their campsite at. We did the baptism. Tony Floyd helped this 5 ft pastor with the baptism. His grandma Wright was so excited she forgot to take the pictures she wanted. So back in the creek we went so she would have the memory as a photo.
Praying for all of you!

My prayers are with all of you who loved Tyler. I had the privilege of teaching him, as well as his mother, father, sister, and brother, at Stuarts Draft High School. He always had a contagious smile on his face and something positive to say. My husband, now deceased, always enjoyed Tyler's coming to our farm to practice his driving skills with tractors and wagons for an FFA contest in which he participated. May God give you His peace that passes understanding as you celebrate Tyler's life and mourn his passing and sustain you in the days ahead with warm memories of all the ways Tyler blessed your lives and the lives of others.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Tyler's wife, son, parents, and entire family. I had the privilege of working with Tyler when he was an intern at Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories at the beginning of his career. Never have I met a kinder or more glad-hearted person. What a void he leaves behind because of who he was. His family was everything to him.

I had the privilege of being Tyler´s advisor in graduate school at Virginia Tech. As kind, considerate, and caring a person as you would ever want to meet. I was so happy when he got to come back to Virginia and continue his career here. He will be sorely missed by the urban forestry community in Virginia.
