Lucille Graves Obituary
She was born in Irish Creek, a daughter or the late Vernie Clark Ramsey.
She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and AARP.
Lucille retired from the former DuPont Company in Waynesboro after 40 years of service. After retirement she worked part-time for K-Mart in Waynesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elbert Ramsey.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Trent and husband Moo of Waynesboro, brother Junior Ramsey and wife Mary of Stuarts Draft; sister, Shirley Hughes; grandson, Charlie Trent; great-grandsons, Owen and Tanner Trent.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Minister David Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Trent, Bert Trent, David Fitzgerald, Charlie Trent, Owen Trent and J. Kent Hite.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St. Waynesboro.
Memorial donations may be made to the Waynesboro YMCA, 648 S. Wayne Ave., Waynesboro, Va.

I work at Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab and have had the pleasure of knowing and loving her and her family. I was very saddened by the news of her passing. She will be truly missed by everyone who has known her. I missed giving her my hug and kiss the day before she left us to be in heaven with our Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Carolyn, your mom was a very special lady, she was so sweet, her and I became friends through the Y many years ago, this truly breaks my heart, we had a Lot of great talks and always told one another we loved each other when our talks would end, she will always be watching over each and every one of you all, I Love you all, give my love to Charlie. She will be missed.

I worked with Lucille at Kmart for many years . She was a joy to work with a true lady I truly loved that lady .She will truly be missed

My sympathy to Lucille's family. I miss not seeing her sitting at the windows which she loved doing. Carolyn, Moo and Charley she loved you so much. She said several times that when you came it was a good day. Moo she loved you like a Son and said no one could have a better Son-in-Law. You and Carolyn were her life. Thanks for being so dedicated to her. She was so blessed. I'll miss those blue eyes and our talks. I hope you can find peace knowing she is at peace and find comfort in your many memories. Again I'm very sorry for your loss.
