Carolyn Leeth

Chillicothe Carolyn Sue Leeth, 78, of Chillicothe, passed away late Friday night, November 7, 2025, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born February 12, 1947 in Pike County, Ohio, daughter of the late Leslie and Virginia (Diamond) Ball. On March 23, 1964, she married her beloved husband, David Leeth, who survives.

Also surviving are their children, Jeff (Sandy) Leeth, and Anita (Dave) Kienzel; grandchildren, Trevor (Kelsea) Leeth, Tori (Oscar) Leeth, Tiffany Jenkins, Brittany (Chandler) Schneider, Steffany Jenkins, Megan (Mike) Burkett, and Olivia Kienzel; four beloved great-grandchildren, Chloe, Graycen, Jax, and Alonzo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Abe Moore, Dewitt Moore, Mildred Green, and Robert Ball.

Carolyn was a beloved homemaker for many years, who enjoyed taking care of her home and family. As the children got older, she went on to work in numerous retail businesses and several banks in the area. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband David and going to see country music concerts. She also loved working in her flower garden in the spring and summer months.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 1:00pm, with Chaplain Gary Sallade officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may join the family for visitation from 11:00am until the time of the service.
