Albert E. Donovan

LEWES - Albert E. Donovan, of Lewes, passed away at home on Monday, March 10, 2014. He had worked for City of Lewes in the Maintenance Department and later was employed at Fellowship Health Resources. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Preston E. and Alice G. (Burton) Donovan; and a sister, Elizabeth White. He is survived by two sisters, June Donovan, of Georgetown, and Dorothy Cannon, of Millsboro; and two brothers, Charles and Joseph Donovan, both of Georgetown; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was 10 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2014 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, with visitation after 9:30 a.m. Burial was in Henlopen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Meals on Wheels of Lewes and Rehoboth, 32409 Lewes-Georgetown Hwy., Lewes, Del 19958.
