KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Charles Bruce Elliott died peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2016 at Celebration Hospital, Celebration, Fla. Chuck was born on January 3, 1932 in Dover, Del. the son of the late N.D. Elliott, Jr. and Lillian Elliott. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Carlin Elliott; and his brother, N. Dodson Elliott. III. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah E. Wicks and her husband John of Kissimmee, Fla.; two grandsons, John Wicks, Jr. and his wife Amy of Kissimmee, Fla. and Charles E. Wicks of Nashville, Tenn. He was also awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandson due in July. Nephews, Ward Novak and his wife Marty of Middletown, Del. and Greg Elliott of Orange Park, Fla.; niece, Susan Elliott of Philadelphia, Pa.; and sister-in-law, Barbara Elliott of Orange Park, Fla. Chuck attended Dover High School and was a graduate of James H. Groves High School 1973. He was a very proud Korea war vet serving in the Air Force. He worked at Dover Air Force Base Civil Service for 38 years before retiring to Kissimmee, Fla. in 1997. He was also an employee of Brunswick Doverama for many years and coached Jr. Bowlers. Mr. Elliott enjoyed camping, bowling and drinking beer with his buddies on Friday nights. Visitation will be Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Trader Funeral Home between the hours of 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Funeral will be Monday, March 14, 2016 at Trader Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Lakeside cemetery. RIP Chuck, spent many hours working with him at Brunswick Doverama and even tipped a few beers with him back in the day. One of the real good guys .
