Eric Levi Travers, 6
Eric Levi Travers, of Houston and Milford, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the A.I. DuPont Hospital in Wilmington, he was 6. Eric was born in Dover, Del. to Kimberlie Travers and Kurt Travers, III.
Eric was a student at the Lake Forest South Elementary School of Harrington. Eric loved the outdoors, and spent as much time as he could outside playing, fishing, being at the park, and soccer. He also enjoyed being around motorcycles. When he was not outside, he was inside playing video games or playing with his favorite dinosaur toys. Eric was outgoing, loving, and caring. He enjoyed being around his family and people in general. He did not care if you were a stranger, he looked upon you as a friend. He was often quoted as saying, "I have one big heart for everybody". He loved his brothers dearly, and also his dad and mom, and called his mom his mini me since they looked so much alike. Eric's love of life and caring attitude will forever be missed by all that knew him.
Eric was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nancy and Robert Blackburn; and a great grandfather, Richard Phillips.
In addition to his mother, Kimberlie and father, Kurt, III, Eric is survived by his brothers, Kurtis and Collin Travers; paternal grandparents, Cynthia and Kurt Travers, Jr.; uncles and aunts, Brandon Blackburn, Kaitlyn Travers, Morgan Travers, Meghan Travers, Matthew Travers; and extended family members.
A Funeral Service for Eric will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, at 1 p.m., with a visitation for family and friends starting at 11 a.m. Interment will take place after the service at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
