Jan Ujvarosy Obituary
Jan was born in Milford the son of the late Alex and Marguerite (Bennett) Ujvarosy. Jan was a graduate of Milford High School and then graduated from the Germaine School of Photography in 1963. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Jan was head of photographic services at L.D. Caulk in Milford for 30 years before retiring in 2004. Jan also taught photography classes for adult education in Milford. He enjoyed duck carving and loved to travel out west, especially to Arizona. He was a former member of the Milford Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife Janice T. (Drzymalski) Ujvarosy; his son Jonathan Ujvarosy and his wife Heather and his granddaughter Zoe.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. Letters of condolence may be sent and shared at www.loflandandmcknatt.com

I remember working with him at LD Caulk and his photo room was up on the 3rd floor. Always a great person to talk too. Thoughts and prayers to the family

Jan and I were boyhood friends from the age of 4. We played with toy trains and built firecrackers. As adults we kept our friendship over the years. We had good times together. I will miss him.
