Lawrence Booco, known to many by Mike, returned to our Lord on April 17, 2015. His parents, Gern and Alice, and his brother, Bill, preceded him into eternal rest. He is survived by his lifelong spouse and soul mate, Loyola, to whom he was married for 59 beautiful years. He goes into eternal rest and peace with the great love, endless gratitude and the many blessings of his wife, seven children - Barbara, Michael, Lawrence (Angie), Gary (Kim), Daniel, Theresa and Matthew (Diane); eleven grandchildren - Jessica, Steven, Stephanie, Pamela, Rebecca, Mona (Rex), Ryan, Nathan, Mark, Caitlin and Emily; and one great granddaughter, Reese. He is also survived by his sister Pat and brother David, many sisters-and brothers-in law, nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Viewing 6-7 PM followed by Rosary at 7:00 PM, Thurs., April 23, 2015;
Viewing, 9:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 Friday, April 24, 2015.
Both at Spirit of Christ, 7400 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003.
Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Reception to follow interment at Spirit of Christ.

Theresa, Matt, entire Booco family,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Mikes passing. I loved our visits together when he would call on us. We would generally swap hunting stories but the thing I remember most was how easy it was to converse with him about anything and everything. He was so welcoming and down to earth. I looked up to him! Going through my rolodex recently and came across his business card bringing fond memories. I'm so sorry for you loss please accept my sincere condolences.

During all of the years that I played softball with Theresa in high school and college, there were certain parents who stood out as being extra kind and supportive. I always loved seeing the Boocos--who were so welcoming and genuine. Theresa was such a special friend and teammate, and I know that so much of what I appreciated about Theresa came from Mr. and Mrs. Booco and your family. I am so sorry for you loss. I hope your fond memories of a wonderful father help you through your sad times.

My first meeting with Mike was by living next door to his rental home on Wyandot street. Mike was always a very giving man & always helped his tenants during hard times. I will miss seeing him when he checks on the property. He was always willing to help every way he could.
