Edwin Langford Obituary
Edwin worked as a mechanic for U.S. Sugar and was a volunteer for the Clewiston Fire Department for 30+ years. He served as the Assistant Chief for many years.
Edwin is survived by his mother, Lillie Langford of Arcadia; two brothers, James Langford and Donald Langford of Arcadia; two sisters, Faye Broucher and Patricia Langford of Port Charlotte; one son, David (Barbara) Langford, of Clewiston; three daughters, Jackie Hoopes of Clewiston, Yolanda (John) Stoker of Clewiston, Glenda (Rick) Flynn of Clewiston; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Edwin was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Langford; and his sister, Sandra Nipper.
A memorial service will be held on Feb. 22, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Akin Davis Funeral Home.
The family is requesting that donations to the Clewiston Volunteer Fire Department be made in lieu of flowers.
Edwin was strong willed. He enjoyed cooking for his friends and family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his dog Jake.
