Dennis Crunkleton Obituary
Dennis Dale Crunkleton, 88, of Everton, died at Hillcrest Home, Friday, July 4 (2025). Visitation was held at Bellefonte Church of Christ on Tuesday, July 8, from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9. Ray Crawford and Jon McCormack will officiate. Burial will follow at Western Grove Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
The son of the late Chester and LaVern (Young) Crunkleton was born in Everton, Oct. 12, 1936. He taught school for 38 years, most of those were at Valley Springs. He was also a basketball referee for over 30 years. Dale loved being a farmer. He was a member of Bellefonte Church of Christ where he served as an elder for 36 years.
Dale is survived by his wife of 66 years, Kathryn (Ross) Crunkleton; daughter, Denise Kimes; two sons, Kenny Crunkleton, and Tim Crunkleton; a brother, Wayne Crunkleton; a sister, Mava Lou Taylor; six grandchildren; a great-grandson and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Jim Kimes, Tom Taylor, Chester Taylor, Rick Crunkleton, Cody Crunkleton, Kanyon Kimes, and Chet Crunkleton.
Honorary pallbearers include Wayne Crunkleton, John Taylor, Bellefonte Church of Christ Family, Staff of Hillcrest Brookside Rehab, Dr. Kenny Collins, and Dr. Raymond Bandy.
