MCcoy family take comfort in knowing that by trusting in Almighty god. He will be a refuge for you if you pour out your heart to him. (Psalm 68:2) I extend my condolence to the family.

I was very saddened to learn of Kenneth's passing. He was always the sweetest, best of men as I knew him over the years through the Bethard family. He obviously was very well loved. My thoughts & prayers are with all his families.

To Ken's family,
My wife Cassie and I would like to extend our sincere condolences for your loss. We had the pleasure to visit with Ken both in New Orleans and in Baton Rouge. He was a very special person and we enjoyed his comapny and visits. He certainly was intersting and a pleasure to be around, God Bless all of you,

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Kenneth Lucian McCoy our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Ken. And to Ken it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during WW-II while serving as an Instructor Pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Ken, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,261 military veteran Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Ken's family and loved ones.

To the family of Mr. McCoy: Your father was a wonderful kind soul we were truly blessed when he would come in to Clegg's and buy his plants or just come by to see if anything new was available. Peace be with you.
