There was never a time in my life that I didn´t know Al. He was friends with my grandfather and Uncle Bill, both tilemen back in the 60 and 70´s. When I lived away, I would see him on holidays and when I moved back he helped us at my beach house. I loved having him for picnics because of how he enjoyed a good meal and grilled corn on the cob.
His work was incomparable and my husband always talked about how much Al taught him. I could listen to Al´s stories as many times as he would tell them. And I could write for days with memories.
Al, you will be missed more than you can imagine. We love you and you will be remembered for the rest of our days. I really hoped we would celebrate your 90th birthday.
Please rest easy. You were the kindest soul who did nothing but good in this world. We hold you in our hearts forever.

Steve and I are so very sorry to read about Al´s passing. He was a great friend who loved going to our home in Wellfleet on the Cape. We looked forward to his yearly gift of pickled eggplants and palm crosses for the holidays. He was a gentle, sweet man who will be missed. This world needs more people like Al.

Al, I'm so glad I got to see you one last time! So werid how you came by 2 weeks ago to bring us your left over birthday ice cream cake for the kids. You haven't physically been here since my dad passed. God works in mysterious ways. Im so greatful got to see you and talk with you one last time. You were driving and doing great. Talking to mw about your trips to NYC and Rhode Island to eat. Even shared the with me and my son Enzo about the restaurant in NYC ypu went to called Enzo's.
Toli's will always remind me of you. You were like my uncle, my dad's best friend. I'm glad me and my kids have so many memories with you. 45 yrs.of them to be exact. Never ever did i expect this now! You were one of the healithest men i knew. Always watched what you ate, survived a hip fracture at age 88 ,recovered and went back to driving. You were impressive. I hope you are resting and finally back with your family, and my dad. Now when i visit my dad , Ill get to visit you.

Mr Al!
I will never forget you! We never had a single time that we didn't catch fish. You taught me so many things that are invaluable. Until we meet again.
