Angelo Iannone Obituary
August 24, 1936 - June 17, 2021
Angelo Iannone Jr., 84, died peacefully at Seacrest Retirement Community on June 17, 2021. Born and raised in West Haven, he was a career electrician for IBEW Local 90. He also had residences in Orange and Pompano Beach FL. He was incredibly hard working, and very proud of the many projects he worked on.
Forever on the go, he was truly a "jack of all trades" and would lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He was fortunate to have many lifelong friends and would often tell stories of their childhood escapades at Savin Rock. He loved to walk and undoubtedly would always make a new friend along the way. Angelo was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 57 years, his four children, Linda Cavaliere (Michael) of Midland GA, Judi Cardello (Robert) of Fairfield CT, Shelley Antuna (Douglas) of E. Hartland CT and Jon Iannone (Valeria) of Mayfield PA, and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Iannone is also survived by his siblings, Mary Ann Vinci of Sun City FL, Connie Sarno of Boynton Beach FL, and Thomas Iannone of Orange. He is predeceased by his parents, Angelo & Mary Iannone, his siblings, Anthony Iannone, Theresa Carrano, Peter Iannone and Grace Vanacore, and his nephew Rick Carrano.
Services will be held in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd. West Haven Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cure PSP at www.psp.org.

As you know, my Ray passed away in 2018.I lost my only son in 2017.
