Ann Bianco Obituary

Ann Bianco
05/18/2024
Our beloved mother and grandmother, Ann Bianco, of East Haven, CT, passed away on May 18, 2024, after a short illness. She was 90 years old.
Ann was the heart of the Bianco home and family. She raised three children, Anthony (Gina) Bianco, Gerard (Beth) Bianco, and was predeceased by her daughter, Andrea Bianco Palmucci (Mike). She was always a happy and loving mother, and instilled in her children to be independent and thoughtful adults. Ann was married for 66 years to her soulmate, Anthony Sr., who preceded her in death. As a grandmother to Antonio and Gabriella she was the "fun gram," always there with love and words of advice, and generally spoiling them rotten.
Ann worked for many years for the government in the Social Security agency and, upon retirement, she transitioned to be the secretary to the Parish of St. Vincent DePaul Church in East Haven for over 25 years. In addition, she helped her two sons working for A&G Contracting Inc in the office, for many years on her days off.
Ann was known for her hearty laughter and kind heart. She was the heart and soul of the Bianco family, and she will be dearly missed. At Ann's request, there will be no calling hours, but before she passed, she made it known she wanted us all to share a laugh and raise a glass in celebration of her journey home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Ann at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish- St. Vincent dePaul Church, Taylor Ave., East Haven, CT 06512. She will be laid to rest with her beloved Anthony immediately following the Mass at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ann's honor to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.

Annie, was such a special person. We Loved her very much, and her family. I knew Annie many years from Church and the Church Choir and our friendship grew over the years. My husband and I both were friends with her and her family. She lived a wonderful life, and made a tremendous impact in this world. She had a beautiful spirit- she was very funny- a little spit fire with a huge personality. I can’t believe that it is almost a year already. She was loved by all who knew her and is deeply missed. We wish you a Happy Heavenly Birthday Annie- sending you lots of Love, as you are forever in our heart, our thoughts and our prayers.

I didn´t know Ann well, just saw her every Sunday in Church, sitting with her friend. She always said "Hello" with that warm smile she had.
My condolences to her family. I know she will be missed very much by all. It seemed strange not seeing her at Mass. Ann and her family will be in my prayers.

To the family of Ann Bianco my deepest condolences.
I met Ann and Tony and her children over 50 years ago.
We were next door neighbors.
Ann was always so sweet warm and friendly. A special memory I have - Ann painstakingly created a Beautiful focal point in her family home - a pebble fireplace . I never saw anything like it -It was truly beautiful. I was beyond impressed and something I will never forget.
Ann, you were admired and loved by many . May you Rest in eternal peace .
