Mrs. Ann Drobnis McMenamin Reynolds died peacefully at the age of 100 on Saturday June 30, 2018 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born to Walter and Ellen Martusis Drobnis on March 10, 1918 in New Britain, Connecticut.
Ann graduated from New Britain High School and attended Bates College and graduated from Albertus Magnus College.
She married Atty. Hugh J. McMenamin of Scranton, PA in 1941. During the 35 years she lived in Scranton she was active in numerous volunteer organizations, principally the Visiting Nurses Association.
In 1984 she married Judge John N. Reynolds of New Haven, CT. She lived in Hamden, CT for the next 30 years.
In her later years she resided in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Sarasota, Florida.
She is survived by two sons: Hugh McMenamin (Mary Jo) of San Francisco and Brian McMenamin (Kris) of Sarasota; a granddaughter Laura McMenamin Williams (Vesper) of Denver, CO and a grandson Sean McMenamin of Lafayette Hill, PA as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters Ella and Mary and a brother Richard.
Private family services will be held. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain, CT.
