Arthur A. Glover, Jr. (Art), 98 of New Haven, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born in New Haven, CT on October 13, 1923, the son of the late Arthur A. Glover, Sr. and Anna Glover-Bates. He served as a World War II Veteran and retired as a branch supervisor from the United States Postal Service.
Arthur leaves to cherish his memory, his son Jerome K. Glover; daughters, Jacqueline Glover and Janita (Troy) Frost; grandchildren, Jason (Kay) and David Miller, Lanita Glover, Devon Frasier, Troy C., Terrez, Tylann and Troi Frost; seven great-grandchildren, Arielle Stevenson, Glenn Glover, Jameson and Davis Miller, Chayse, Michael and Alexander Frost; loving sister, Patricia Patrick; and special niece and caregiver, Sharmane Crocker; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. His beloved wife of 70 years Theodora (Teddi) Glover; firstborn son, Arthur A. Glover, III; his littlest angels, granddaughter, Tanasia J. Frost; great-grandson, Terrell Stevenson; five sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
A celebration of his life will take place Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may attend viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Hamden Plains Cemetery, Hamden, CT.
