Barbara Pepe Obituary
Barbara Coppola Pepe, 79, of East Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7th, 2025, at Yale New Haven Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of 54 years to the late Peter P. Pepe. Barbara was born in New Haven on May 13, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Gagliardi Coppola. She worked as a school bus driver for the former Nutile Bus Company and later for the B&B Bus Company until her retirement. Barbara was a dedicated UConn Huskies Basketball fan. Mother of Sandra Pepe Fronte and her husband Anthony. Grandmother of Amanda Cano (Mateo), Sabrina Fronte-Lulaj (Kristjan) and Erika Fronte. Great-grandmother of Noah Cano. Sister of Michael Coppola (Laura) and the late Thomas Coppola. Sister-in-law of Nancy Cerrotti and Patricia Pepe. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
The visiting hours will be Monday, Feb. 10th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, on Tuesday morning, Feb. 11th, at 11:00. To the Coppola/Pepe family -
So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. Good people, never a bad word to say about anyone, unless they said if first. Having known her from North Haven, we always knew our children were in good, and protective, hands when they were on her bus. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on her passing. She'll be in our prayers.

So sorry to hear of this very sad news. Barbara was always the life of the party and having a good time was in her nature. That´s how I´ll remember her.
