Ms. Barbara Jean Whitt, 81, of Waterbury, formerly of New Haven, died, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her home.
Ms. Whitt was born July 31, 1942 in Waterbury a daughter to the late Earl and Rosie (Gray) Whitt.
Visitation 10 a.m., funeral 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 12th, at Pitts Chapel U.F.W. Baptist Church, 64 Brewster Street, New Haven, burial will be private.

Danny, I´m so sorry for your loss. Memories of your mother from English Chapel will continue to be a part of my life. She watched me grow from a child into a young mother. Her talks were to the point, stern, strong, loving and comical all at the same time. May God´s comfort be upon you and your family.
