Barbara Withington Obituary
Barbara Withington, 90, of East Haven and Port Charlotte, FL, died on Friday, March 30, 2018. For the past 69 years, she has been the wife of William E. Withington. She worked as a Clerk for SNET for more than 30 years, retiring in 1992. Besides her husband, Barbara is survived by a daughter, Maureen Vogt of Guilford, a son Brian Withington of East Haven and four grandchildren, Karen (Danielle) Tirozzi, Michael (Denise) Tirozzi, Timothy Tirrozi, Brian Withington Jr., and three Great grandchildren Isabelle, Miles and Ethan Tirozzi. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Keith Vogt and two brothers, Thomas and Harold Jordan.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Pompeii Church of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The East Haven Memorial Longobardi – Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708 is in charge of arrangements. Bill and family,
You and Barbara were one of the first families we met when we first moved to Lakes Edge more than 25 years ago. We enjoyed the times we spent with you and Barbara and will always remember that you were one of the best Lakes Edge Board members we ever had. Thanks so much for your years of service to us.
