Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Bernard Levine. Bernie was one of a kind: A superb colleague, respected teacher and leader in his specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, mentor to generations of dentists, and a treasured friend to so many. His blunt honesty and refreshing sense of humor were among the gifts he readily shared with those around him. His superb leadership of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of St Raphael and training of dozens of outstanding surgeons has impacted the lives of countless patients around the world. Bernie loved life, his family, especially Cis, and was a trusted friend one could always go to for great advice and encouragement. The world is a better place for him being in it. We are grateful to have known him.

My deepest and sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dr Bernard Levine. This man was a true representation of how to lead an exemplary life. I had the opportunity of working for Dr Levine for the better part of 2018 into 2019, and in that span of time he would definately rank extremely high as one of the best persons on this planet, that I know. He was extremely Kind, pleasant, easy to talk to, funny and just one of the coolest elderly people I know. I remember a lady at the residential facility where he lived , a lady at our table chatting about how great her haircut was and that her hairdresser even thought she looked like Audrey Hepburn. After that remark, Dr Levine looked up from his plate and said "Do you have a blind hairdresser?" That evening everyone at the table laughed so hard, they almost fell out of their chair. That gentle soul will live on in my heart for a long time. He lived for the moment, never afraid of speaking up, and was always great company. His life, his works and his valuable contributions to society will forever live on.Well done Doc.RIEP.
