Brian Griggs Obituary

GRIGGS, BRIAN Brian Griggs, 52, of Bedford died September 22, 2012 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1960 in Pompton Plains, NJ the son of Connie (Brown) Griggs of Hamden, CT. He was raised and educated in Hamden graduating from Hamden High school where he played on the football team. Brian was an innovator in the wire and cable industry. Most recently he worked as an engineering consultant. Brian was a loving, devoted father and grandfather. He could always make people laugh and was a very generous man. His passion for life was infectious, he truly enjoyed everyone's company. He was so happy riding his motorcycle and was well traveled. He will be sorely missed by many. Besides his mother, he is survived by his 5 daughters, Julie Kopacz (Mitchell) of Londonderry, NH, Ashley Griggs of Candia, NH, Kim Turcotte of Goffstown, NH, Kat Magoon (Michael) of Northwood, NH and Jennifer Zabel (Steve) of Penacook; his granddaughter, Aubrie Kopacz of Londonderry; 3 brothers, Stephen Griggs of Hamden, CT, Douglas Griggs (Cindy) of Wallingford, CT, Thomas Griggs (Teena) of Hamden, CT and sister, Susan Griggs of North Grosvenordale, CT and many nieces and nephews. His celebration of life will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Saturday from 12:00-1:00PM with his service at 1:00PM. Donations in his memory can be made to The American Heart Association, 2 Wall St., Suite 105, Manchester, NH 03101. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements. Bri, I didn't know and 8 years later I am so sad. You popped into my head this morning. I was thinking about our midnight broccoli cauliflower and A1 sauce. You will forever be in my heart. Oh how we laughed.
