Bruce Berman

BERMAN, BRUCE Bruce Berman, 87, beloved husband of the late Reyna (Schwartz) Berman passed away surrounded by his family on May 6, 2013. The son of the late Dr. Harry and Birdie Berman, Bruce Berman was born in New Haven on October 12, 1925. Bruce Berman graduated from Cheshire Academy. He enlisted in the US Army during his freshman year at Yale and participated in five major campaigns. He graduated from Yale when he returned from the war and worked as a stockbroker for many years in New Haven, Connecticut. He was predeceased by his brother, Jerome. He is survived by his children, James Berman of Old Saybrook and Carolyn Berman of Minneapolis, Minnesota and his loving grandchildren, Jessica and Amanda Berman and Jacob and Rey Berman-Jolton. Graveside funeral service at the Mishkan Israel Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven Wednesday morning (today) at 11. The Weller Funeral Home, 493 Whitney Ave., New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
