Carol Kapinos Szigeti
January 25, 1962 - October 1, 2024
Carol Kapinos Szigeti, 62, beloved wife of Vincent Szigeti of North Branfrod passed away October 1, 2024 in the St. Raphael Campus surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Amanda Szigeti of North Branford. Caring grandmother of Bella and Jaida Rapuano. Cherished daughter of Lois Grey Kapinos of East Haven and the late Frank Kapinos, Sr. Loving sister of John (Christine) Kapinos, Michael (Sue) Kapinos and Kenneth Kapinos all of East Haven and the late Frank Kapinos, Jr. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Carol was born in New Haven on January 25, 1962. Prior to her retirement she worked for the US Postal Service for many years.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80), East Haven Tuesday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call MONDAY from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen at www.komen.org. Sign Carol's guest book online at www.portofuneralhomes.net
