Carole Sepkowski Obituary

SEPKOWSKI, CAROLE ANN 12-5-1945 to 10-17-2013 Carole Sepkowski, age 68, born December 5, 1945 died Thursday, October 17, 2013. She was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Born in the Bronx NY, she grew up in Levittown NY and graduated from Division Ave High School in 1964. Carole moved to Connecticut after meeting her husband on a family camping trip in Vermont, they settled down in Durham and later Cheshire. For 32 years Carole sold commercial insurance for Liberty Mutual, then later for CPM insurance, she was one of the first female sales reps for Liberty Mutual Insurance and always in the top of her field. She will be remembered most for her generosity and laughter. Born in December she was named after Christmas and she made Christmas magical for everyone. Her home was always so beautifully decorated but especially at Christmas, children would ask if Santa lived there. Her favorite things to do were to spend time with her family, traveling, decorating and shopping for treasures. She is survived by her mother Grace Lenox Bell, daughter Karil D. Kling her husband Joseph; son Paul J. Sepkowski, his wife Heather, granddaughter Ashley Raine; her sisters and brothers Grace Flight, John G. Lenox his wife Shelly; Edward Lenox, his wife Laurie; Robert Lenox and his wife Bette; Susan St. Pierre and her husband Michael; Michele and Kenneth Tubbs, also her nephews and nieces Peter Flight, Catherine Murphy-Flight, Kelly Morman, Matthew Prichard, Michael Pritchard, April Lenox, Edward Lenox, Jr., Patrick Lenox, Brian Lenox, Benjamin Lenox, Erin Kennedy, Scott Kennedy, Joy Tubbs, Anthony Sepkowski, Jennifer Tubbs, Michelle Meehan, Sarah Tubbs and Annie Tubbs. She is predeceased by her ex-husband Paul J. Sepkowski, Uncle William McGraw, Aunt Josephine McGraw, Stepfather James Bell, brothers in law Norman Flight and Anthony Sepkowski, and her dog, Jenny. A Service will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM Northford Congregational Church UCC, 16 Old Post Road, Northford, CT 06472

I knew Carole through her mother, Grace Bell, a dear friend of mine. Carole was a gracious lady who maintained a beautiful home wherever she was. A donation will be made in her name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Connecticut.
