Mrs. Carolyn Patterson-Harris was the daughter of the late Mr. Jessie Pete and Mrs. Lucy McCall-Gordon. On February 8, 1949, she was born in Lumberton, NC, had eight sisters and eight brothers, and matriculated through the Lumberton School system. Mrs. Carolyn Patterson-Harris departed this life on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
Carolyn Patterson-Harris was predeceased by her loving parents, Mr. Jessie Pete and Mrs. Lucy McCall-Gordon; her favorite mother-in-law Juanita Harris; beloved granddaughter, La'Nay Patterson, loving siblings; Sonny, Matthew, and Cynthia McCall. She leaves to cherish her memory, seven loving sisters and six loving brothers, loving and devoted husband, Allen Harris, beloved children, son; Marquis Patterson, daughters Linda Patterson, Kim Burruss (Jamal), and Apryl Patterson of New Haven, CT, beloved grandchildren; Kegan Patterson, Bud Davis, Jaylin Davis, Jessica Davis, Marjuaja Patterson, Dominique Williams, Vincent Patterson, Jr., Nazjhare Bradley, Azjanea Bradley, and Emilia White of New Haven CT, seven precious great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Fri., April 30, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Temple Church, 285 Dixwell Ave., New Haven, CT 06511. Calling hours 10 a.m. until time of service.
