Clifford Brumell Obituary

Brumell, Jr., Clifford
Clifford Brumell, Jr. died at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, November 7, 2020, in New Haven, CT.
Cliff, known to family and friends as "Wiffie", was born September 17, 1959, in Rochester, NY, the son of the late Clifford and Joan Brumell.
He moved with his family to Mt. Carmel, CT in 1963, where he spent many happy years with his neighborhood friends, and with his faithful Golden Retriever, Honey, always by his side.
After graduating from high school, Cliff had a long and dedicated career in retail, first at Caldor, Inc., and later at BJs Wholesale Club, where he received the Employee of the Month Award. Cliffie had a wonderful sense of humor, and always knew just the right thing to say to get everyone in a room to laugh. He loved WWE, baseball, football, and attending car shows with his buddy Moises.
Cliffie was predeceased by his beloved mother and father. He is survived by his three sisters, Beth and Robin Brumell of California, Lauren Brumell of New Haven, CT, uncle and aunt Richard and Jeanne Floersheimer, nieces Emily Wynbrandt, Hanna and Julia Jones, nephew Samuel Wynbrandt, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.

Cliff was a neighbor and a friend. I watched him grow up in a loving family. I always looked forward to seeing Cliff at work where we shared stories about our past and present .

The friendliest guy you could ever meet. Always greeted me with a smile and asked about my family. He will be missed.
