Daniel T. "Danny" Cerrone 66, of New Haven passed away on September 15, 2020 in Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael Campus. Loving brother of Laurea (Vincent) Ardito, Sandra (Roger) Mathieu, Mary Ellen (Steven) Ilsley, Angelo A. (Elaine) Cerrone Jr., John Cerrone and Jeff (Lisa) Cerrone. Nephew of Rita (Robert) Walker and John (Gail) Siclari. Danny was born in New Haven on December 16, 1953 son of the late Angelo A. and Lillian Siclari Cerrone Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to a parlor service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven MONDAY afternoon at 1:30. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends may call MONDAY from 12:00 to 2:00. Masks and social distancing is required. Sign Danny's guest book online at

Danny you have hiked the great trail and have now left us to go home. Thank you for the memories, your niece and great laughs! Please keep the council fire brightly burning and may you always be with us as we walk the trails of life. May the great master of all scouts be with us until we meet again.

I am so sorry that life will not have my friend in it any more danny and I go way back to earl ave and the Walters family playing card and in the snow with Danny Don and his twin brother Dave who is now my x Danny was little my little brother with his wise guys jokes and that hat he had I should remember him always with love and laught and it was an honor to call you my brother and friend R.I.P with mom and dad and no more pain love you Anita Walters to Danny family and friend I am so very sorry GOD BLESS
