Denise DiScuillo Obituary
Denise Fortin DiScuillo of Westerly, RI passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, with her family by her side. She was the best friend and wife of the late George W. DiScuillo. She was born in New Haven, CT on January 14, 1952, and raised in Morris Cove, East Haven by the late Robert and Francesca Fortin.
Denise worked in the medical field for over 30 years, retiring to Myrtle Beach, SC in 2010. She was a member of the St. James Ladies Guild of SC and forever a Boy Scout mom. Denise's greatest joys were her children and grandchildren, baking, knitting, game nights, and picnics. She had an unwavering passion for the ocean and beach.
She is survived by her three children Shawn (Briana), Joseph (Sasha), and Jeanine DiScuillo, along with 8 grandchildren. Denise is also survived by her loving brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Fortin.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Place, New Haven. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 10:00. Burial at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Share a memory on Denise' Tribute page by visiting www.iovanne.com.
