Domenico Izzo Obituary

Domenico Izzo
Domenico Izzo, 72, of North Haven, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at his home. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Angela Capriglione Izzo. Domenico was born in the small town of Formicola, province of Caserta, Italy, on October 16, 1953, and was the son of the late Antonio Izzo and Maria Baldino. He is survived by his brothers, Giacomo and Joseph Izzo, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Giovanna Nacca, and brother, Stefano, of Italy. Domenico worked as a mason for C.J. Fucci Construction for many years until his retirement.
Domenico enjoyed masonry and gardening and even put his talent toward building a beautiful pizza oven in his backyard. He was an avid maker of home-made wine and loved getting together with his family and friends to taste and drink his wine. Domenic will be remembered for his quiet demeanor and appreciation for the simple things in life. His greatest joy was spending time with and being Nonno to his beloved grandsons, whom he loved unconditionally. Beloved father of Maria Izzo (Jimmy), Anthony Izzo (Corri), and Domenic Izzo. Loving Nonno of Mason and Luca Izzo and Jessica Davies.
The visiting hours will be Sunday, November 23rd, from 2 to 5 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning, November 24th, at 10:00 a.m. and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org . www.northhavenfuneral.com
