Doris Kelsey is someone I hold close in my heart. My first impression upon meeting her was... "This woman was touched by God." You could see that she was blessed. A woman of great character. Humble, gracious and illuminating a sweet gentle spirit.
What I cherish the most is how she always welcomed me with an open door and comforting conversation. Her kind words resonate in my mind and will stay with me for my lifetime. One day she said to me,weepingly,"You remind me of my son Henry". The honor was undeserving but I was glad that God used me to convey Henrys' presence to her.
Doris you are blessing to me.
Thank you.
Gods' comfort to your loved ones ...
Rejoice, she is with the Lord.
I briefly worked at Peregrines Landing in 2011 and did not learn of her passing until today.

She was a wonderful woman, I will never forget her. I still can't believe she is gone. I just found this, and I am so sorry for all others who were close to her, I know it still hurts me. But, I picture her every day smiling and being happy, especially when In The Garden comes on. She is in someplace better now

Doris will be remembered as a great woman, full of curiosity, love of community and devotion to family. As she welcomed me into her family, I grew to appreciate how special she was for her times and how she relished her position as Town Historian. May those who love her, especially Paul, Cheyenne, Betty, Naomi and Barbara, take solace in great memories and know she is at peace in the hands of God. with love, Lucia
