Elizabeth Gudas Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Orzechowski Gudas, 103, of North Haven passed away peacefully May 25, 2018 in Connecticut Hospice. She was the wife of the late Joseph Anthony Gudas. Elizabeth was born in Southington, April 3, 1915, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Ciomborowska Orzechowski. She had been employed as a counter with National Folding Box for many years. Elizabeth is the mother of Joseph (Susan) Gudas and Lisa (Brian) Urquhart. Grandmother of Michael (Briana) Gudas and Christopher (Jamie) Gudas. Sister of the late Emma kolakowski, Mary Pogonelski, Nell Kotulski, Edith Sudol, John, Emil, Theodore and Stanley Orzechowski. Elizabeth was an avid Boston Red Sox and UConn Women's Basketball fan.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial FRIDAY morning at 11 in St. Stanislaus Church. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME, INC. is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405 or VA Healthcare System, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516.
