May 21, 1950 - November 4, 2025
Emanuel "Bob" Monaco departed this world surrounded by his loving family to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 4, 2025. Bob Monaco, 75, of New Haven; much-loved husband of Bernice Monaco; born on May 21, 1950. Son of the late William and Santella Monaco, also predeceased by his brothers, Dominic, Edward, and David Monaco. Besides his wife, Bob is survived by his three children: Nicole (Bobby), Joe (Lexy), and Melissa (Jeff); his only grandchild and bestest buddy, Brodie Trahan. He also leaves behind three brothers, William (Fran), Raymond (Angie), and John (Cheryl) Monaco. Bob became an electrician after high school and continued to hone his trade until his retirement. Bob loved Jesus, reading his Bible, and could be heard singing loud and proud at Sunday service. Bob loved to be the life of the party and brought enormous happiness to many as he dressed as Santa Claus every Christmas Eve. He continued this tradition up to last year, this will leave a hole for many that will never be filled. On November 14, 2025 friends and family may visit Liberty Community Church, 540 Washington Avenue, North Haven, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. visiting hour, Memorial service at 12 p.m. with light refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National MS Society.
