I met Mr. & Mrs. Ruetenauer approximately 70 + yrs ago when my parents Jim & Vicky Kearney visited their home in Branford. As a youngster I was very impressed with their hospitality and kindness. I remember asking my parents if we could go back to visit another time. Over the years ( and there have been many) I have thought of Alice & Russ and wondered if I would ever see them again. Life goes on and seeing them never did happen
Reading of Russ´ passing brought it all back. It is not a surprise that they celebrated a 76th anniversary. My sincere condolences to Alice and family.
You have been blessed with beautiful wonderful people in your lives.
Sincerely,
Darlene Kearney Tamburrino
