FRANK TRICASO Obituary

TRICASO, FRANK PAUL Frank Paul Tricaso, 80 of Shelton, formerly of Glen Haven Road, New Haven died peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes, Shelton. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances Beryl Kiphut Tricaso. Frank was born in New Haven on March 7, 1934, a son of the late Paul and Marion Gianotto Tricaso, and had resided in New Haven for his entire life before moving to Shelton two years ago. He worked for the former Simkins Manufacturing Co. and the former Connecticut Container Co. of New Haven, and also owned and operated the former Frank & Paul’s Restaurant of New Haven for several years. Frank was a proud Korean War Air Force Veteran. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Tricaso of Ansonia, a son, Paul J. Tricaso of New Haven, a sister, Helen (Raymond) D’Addio of Hamden, two brothers, Pasquale Perrone of New Haven and Stephen Perrone of Hamden, four grandchildren, Elisia Rosario and Jessica Lampo of Ansonia, Peter Dudeck of New Haven, and Jennifer Lampo of East Haven, and three great grandchildren, Justin Rosario, Jayden Dudeck, and Isaac Santiago. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen Tricaso, three sisters, Mary Melillo, Louise Verzier, and Kitty Meneo, and a grandson, Michael Tricaso. Frank’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. His funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church, 397 Ferry St., New Haven. Burial with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
