Fred Cross Obituary

CROSS, FRED J. Mr. Fred J. Cross affectionately known as “Fred,” 73, of Orchard Street, departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT. He was the widower of Alice (Jackson) Cross. Mr. Cross was born July 26, 1940 in Lawndale, NC a son to the late Sterling and O’Lillian (Baccus) Cross. Funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, December 7, 2013 at New Bethlehem U.F.W. Baptist Church, 70 Orchard Street, New Haven with the Pastor Marie A. Gore, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. Calling hour will be held 9 am Saturday, December 7th at the church. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 am until the time of service. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel Memorial Funeral Home, 35-37 Grove Street, Waterbury.
