GAIL TUCCI-LAMPRON

1964 - 2017

Gail Tucci-Lampron, age 53, of Prospect, passed peacefully on Sunday, September 10th,2017, at CT Hospice of Branford. Gail was born in Bridgeport on January 9, 1964, daughter of the late Donald and Jeannette (Costanzo) McKirdy. She was the beloved mother of her only son Michael David Tucci, Jr and devoted wife of Philip E. Lampron. She lived in Orange most of her life before moving to Prospect a year ago. Gail worked at Bridgeport Hospital for the last 37 years culminating her career as a certified Allied Health Instructor. She was passionate about the profession of Surgical Technology and was past president and board member of Connecticut Association of Surgical Technologists. Gail shared her love by serving as a mentor and instructor in the Certified Surgical Technology program at Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing and took a personal interest in all of her students. Gail was also an inspiring instructor in the allied health sterile processing program. She was devoted to her own education and actively pursuing her Master's degree in Healthcare Administration. Gail was fun loving and full of life. Her incredible smile radiated the beauty of her soul. She had a creative mind and loved interior decorating and hosting friends and family. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and anything outdoors. One of her favorite things to do was motorcycle riding with her husband. She is survived by her son Michael David Tucci, Jr, his fiancé Melissa Cranford, and stepdaughter Brittany Lampron. She leaves two sisters, Kathy Zawadski and her husband Richard, and Donna McKirdy. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. On Friday, her funeral service will be held at Huntington Congregational Church, 19 Church Street, Shelton at 11:00 am. Burial will be immediately following at Lawn Cemetery.
