MARMITT, GARY PAUL Gary Paul Marmitt, 58, of Brunswick, GA, & formerly of New Haven, CT, beloved husband of Sharon McKeand Marmitt died suddenly in Atlanta, GA on October 7,2015. Gary was born in New Haven, CT July 2, 1957. He was the son of the late Louis & Beatrice (Alpert) Marmitt. Amazing brother of Lynn Marmitt Pensky of Hamden. Brother-in-law of Alan Pensky of Hamden, Joo and Michael Fouts of Douglasville, GA. Uncle of Darren and Judith (Bartlett) Fouts, great-uncle of Lauren, Max and Will Fouts of Acworth, GA. Gary leaves behind his precious canine companions, Ace, Gracie and Jackie. Gary lived life to the fullest every day. He was a drummer, a musician and a radio broadcast owner of several radio stations in Southeast, Georgia. He served on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Georgia and was a former member of the Brunswick Isles Chamber of Commerce. Funeral Services at Robert E. Shure Funeral Home, 543 George St., New Haven on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 11:00 o’clock with Interment Services to follow at the B’nai Jacob Memorial Park, Wintergreen Ave., New Haven. Memorial Contributions may be sent to : The Boys and Girls Club of SE Georgia, Waycross Hebrew Center and the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia.
