Gregory Melotto, 54, of Fair Haven, passed away February 7, 2023 unexpectedly in Florida. He was born August 4, 1968 in New Haven to Robert and Barbara (Patterson) Melotto. Gregory is survived by his loving daughter, Alicia Melotto (John Coppola) of Whitefield, NH, mother, Barbara Melotto of New Haven, fatherly figure, John Haire, brother, Robert Melotto of Maine and two nieces, Emily and Hannah Melotto. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Melotto.
Family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. His funeral procession will then leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Francis Catholic Church, 397 Ferry St., New Haven, CT. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to The Scars Foundation, 209 Beverly Dr., #338 Beverly Hills, CA 90212 or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038 in memory of Gregory Melotto.
