LUCUK, IRENE (HUSTI) Irene (Husti) Lucuk, age 91 of Seymour entered peaceful rest November 18, 2015 at Shady Knoll Health Center; she was the beloved wife of the late Peter Lucuk, Sr. Mrs. Lucuk was born November 5, 1924 in Shelton, daughter of the late Alexander and Veronica (Koncz) Husti. She will always be remembered as the face of Al’s Hot Dog Stand of Naugatuck where she worked with her son Al for forty years greeting customers with her smile as she helped them with their orders. Irene was a member of the Seymour Congregational Church, and had previously worked at the former Kings Department Store in Seymour. Mrs. Lucuk leaves her loving family including her sons, Peter Lucuk, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Millsboro, DE, and Al Lucuk of Prospect, and a sister Julia Shegda in TX, 4 grandchildren, and 5great grandchildren. Calling Hours will be held Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Funeral Service in celebration of Irene’s life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
