I found out about what happened really late. I was homesick during my time in Balikpapan and he happened to be one of the kids who made things a lot more bearable for me during my time down there in Indonesia until I left for the Philippines on the 17 of April 96, the day we said goodbye to each other.
Isaac, I never had the chance to say thank you for being there for me during those times. But I'm gonna say it now bro. THANK YOU.

One summer Isaac and his siblings came to our summer cottage in Chaumont with his grandparents. He thoroughly enjoyed playing outside-exploring nature, catching frogs,etc. He didn't want to stop to eat as he was having so much fun.

I found myself laughing about Isaac during our time in Balikpapan, Indonesia. He was a young, energetic, boy who loved everyone and loved to explore our surroundings. I remember looking out my office window on a day that we were having a super heavy tropical rain. The roundabout in front of the office was surrounded by decorative football sized rocks. The roundabout had a slope to it and Isaac had made a dam using the rocks and was sitting in his pond in this torrential downpour. Absolutely soaked to the skin and loving every moment of his creation. I thought that was pretty cool and a very good use of the decorative rocks. Of course he put all back after the rain stopped. Such a wonderful soul!

Although we only met a few times, I always wanted to make an album with Isaac but felt unable to match his musical integrity. He must have been one of the best musicians in CT, definitely my favorite piano player. The songs he was preparing for his second album were brilliant. So sorry for the loss of your son, he will be missed, but his legacy will live on.
